The River Plate performance (in Argentina) by AC/DC in 2009 was sadly, the last tour w/ founding rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young, Angus Young's brother and co-writer in the band... Years later, Angus revealed that Malcolm was struggling to remember things back in 2008 as they worked on the album 'Black ice'... He was soon diagnosed w/ dementia; he insisted he could carry in AC/DC until he was unable to... Onstage, he looked frail and was not as vibrant as in past tours (even though he was the quiet guitarist in the back who held the rhythm) In 2013, AC/DC quietly announced that Malcolm Young was retiring - he could no longer remember the songs he had written... Their nephew Stevie Young took his spot on rhythm guitar. Malcolm Young passed away in 2017 (R.I.P.) It was also the last tour to feature longtime drummer Phil Rudd... He had joined AC/DC in 1975 and recorded a majority of their albums but he was fired in 1983 for excessive drug abuse. Rudd cleaned up his act and settled in New Zealand. In 1994, Phil Rudd was asked to rejoin AC/DC by Malcolm Young and he had to work on getting his drum skills back... Rudd returned in 1995 and stayed w/ the band... However, he appeared in 2014 to record their album 'Rock or bust'... and looked awful... Months later, news broke that Phil Rudd was arrested and charged in New Zealand w/ a murder-for-hire plot and had been abusing drugs again. After Malcolm Young's death in 2017, Phil Rudd had done jail time and cleaned up once again... He was asked to play drums on AC/DC's 'Power up' album (in Malcolm Young's memory) which was released in 2020. However, his criminal convictions and legal issues made it impossible for him to tour extensively. Last year (2023), AC/DC played their first show since 2016, when Brian Johnson suffered hearing loss and was replaced on tour by Guns N' Roses singer Axl Rose... Brian Johnson (vocals) announced that new tech in hearing aids had provided the compensation for his hearing loss and he would be able to tour again... However, Cliff Williams (bass) had announced that he would be retiring back in 2016; he played his last show w/ AC/DC in 2023... Matt Laug (drums) was added to AC/DC's line-up. In 2024, AC/DC has announced a major European tour w/ Angus Young, Brian Johnson and Stevie Young being joined by drummer Matt Laug and new bassist Chris Chaney, starting May 17.

Sky During inaugural festival, 2023's Power Trip, Angus, even though he is little older still moves to the beat but slowly. Brian Johnson returns after he recovered from his hearing loss. Cliff also returns after 1st decided to retire from touring. Angus & Malcolm's nephew stepped in his Uncle Malcolm's place as rhythm guitarist. Not too shabby for a bunch of old dudes!!!!! AC/DC played 3 straight nights at River Plate in Dec 2009 to a total of 220,000+ ppl so says their official web site so that’s 73,000+ a night!!!!! Brian was 63, Angus was 54 and the rest of the boys were in their 50’s!!! Legendary is all I can say. These Argentina fans are the best on the planet and they appreciate good hard driving rock and roll. Just look at all the different ages in the crowd. It transcends generations. Unbelievable!! Of course they are still touring!!! 50 years + and still going strong!!!! The tour will see the lads shows across Germany, Italy, Spain, The Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, England, Slovakia, Belgium, France & Ireland this Summer. I think they did a concert recently. I saw a video of parts of it. Angus has white hair now lol. It sounded kind of rough, but they have nothing to prove. Their last album kicked ass too 🤘

The reason y Steve Perry left Journey is because he wanted to have hip surgery and Journey didn't want him to and plus Steve Perry said that he was burned out of singing at the time and his girlfriend died of breast cancer.

With its structure, its breaks, transitions, rhythm changes, modulations, choruses, pre-choruses, drum attacks, its endings… The great beauty of their art is in its simplicity but all this always seems to be at the right time and in the right way, bordering on perfection and predominating sophistication. The rich men north of Richmond are in DC. He's from a coal-mining region, so his reference to 'miners' is about coal miners. He contrasts this to Epstein's island, so 'miners' vs. 'minors'. He's wanting politicians to care about the workers, instead of indulging in their own deviant perversions and get off their shady corrupt asses and actually do something for the people and not angle some way to get more money and power into their pockets!!!!
